Senior Pastor: Pastor Skip Furrow  

Pastor Skip, Anne, Matt and Joel Furrow

Skip Furrow has been senior pastor of North Point Baptist Church since January of 1997. He first trusted Christ as his Savior when he was a child.  It was during those young days that God called him to preach the gospel.He and his wife have been married since June 1981 and have two adult children. The Furrows enjoy serving God together as a family.

Pastor Skip’s goal in every message is to clearly explain the gospel of Jesus Christ, giving people the opportunity to come into a right relationship with God, and to also carefully teach the Word of God to Christians so that they may grow in the Lord.

Youth Pastor:  

Pastor Jason Fletcher 

Pastor Jason, Alyssa, Hannah, Rachel Fletcher

Pastor Jason Fletcher was just brought on board as our new Youth Pastor in November 2008. He was married to Rachel Fletcher in July 2005 and together they have three young children -Hannah and Alyssa and Jordan (not pictured).

Jason and Rachel were both saved at a young age and met in Bible College. Having attended North Point Baptist Church for several years, they now lead our ministry of changing the lives of youth.

Music Minister: Michael White  

Before Michael White completed his degree in Bible with a missions concentration (1995), he obtained A&P certification under the aviation major. As a result, he is a full-time aircraft mechanic with TIMCO. He completed a music minor at PBC in 2003, which enhanced his ministry as music director at North Point Baptist Church, a position he has held since 1999.

When asked about preparing for the ministry, he said, "As Dr. Allred used to say, ‘Keep short accounts with God.’ Being in Bible college is not enough; one must maintain that personal, daily walk with the Lord. Be faithful, serve God, do what He has for you NOW. Get all the practical experience you can. One can only learn so much from a textbook."
